From an early age, French composer and musician Max Sokolinski has played guitar, bass, piano and drums.
At 23, he packed his bags and sailed for Los Angeles to launch his musical career. There, he plays notably for various artists such as Daniel Johnson, as well as his sister actress and musician Soko for whom he plays guitar
In 2017, he founded a trio of harps, drums and bass, mixing classical music, jazz and soul, and played for brands such as Gucci, Zadig & Voltaire, Alexis Mabille and Ellery.
Currently, Max has released his first solo album entitled "Before the rain stops". The album was written as a journey with himself through his first heartbreak. The songs go through all stages, from sadness and nostalgia to acceptance and healing.
He recorded and mixed the album between Los Angeles and Paris, playing himself most of the instruments present, and with the intention of creating something dreamlike and cinematographic but raw and personal.
In 2019, he founded the group "Bruises" with Adah Jungk. The duo dares the mix of electro-pop music, and a touch of trip hop and psychedelic rock. Their first EP was released in November 2019.
