TRUMPETS OF CONSCIOUSNESS

Trumpets of Consciousness is a French pop band founded by Thibauld Labey in 2015 in Lyon. Their eponymous first album brilliantly upholds a certain idea of that 5-star pop imagined by the likes of Brian Wilson, The Band, Big Star or The Beatles. In-between elegant psychedelism, quivering sixties-like melodies and high-end folk poetry their first album is a vintage journey through the pop landscapes of the greats.

A colorful trip exquisitely illustrated by the art-work of David Sala, an hedonistic vision of the art of pop-music. Recorded at Mikrokosm and Cartelier Studios, mixed by Thibauld Labey himself, and mastered by Back To Mono Records studio. Out in 2016. New album in 2018.
